Due to his wife and other terrible marital problems, John van’t Schip sorrowfully announced his retirement unexpectedly, and all his team players broke down in tears, but…

All of John van’t Schip’s teammates sobbed when he abruptly announced his retirement, citing his wife and other horrible marital issues.

John van ‘t Schip is pleased that he can now fulfill his late wife’s ambition by leading Ajax as head coach, according to Voetbal International. She recently had a conversation about this with the new Ajax coach, who is aware of her desire for this.

At the Johan Cruyff Arena, Van ‘t Schip, 59, has assumed the position temporarily following Maurice Steijn’s dismissal due to the club’s worst start since professional football in the Netherlands began in 1954.

Danielle, his spouse, lost her Van ‘t Schip lost his fight to cancer last month, and throughout her treatment, he mentioned going back to work. At that point, his wife said he should aim to rejoin Ajax, the team where he played for the majority of his playing career.

“I had excellent communication with my wife about this,” he stated. She sincerely wished that I would return to work, and we deliberated over this.

“It was her who told John to take advantage of these opportunities and these times. Being able to fully commit to that process is beneficial for you. That is something you can accomplish. Does that help you feel better, or will you still remain at home? “That’s the reason I was originally thinking about that technical position.”

Van ‘t Schip was originally supposed to have a different job at Ajax, but after Maurice Steijn left, he was named the new trainer.

And we also discussed that. Sadly, she has not experienced this and will not in the future. I like to think that she played a significant role in it from above, though.

In mid-2024, Van’t Schip agreed to serve as head coach. After that, the former international will join the Amsterdam club’s technical management team.
