Good news: A legendary all-time player for the USC Trojans has proposed to a legendary player for…
They will always be together!
Former athletes Victoria Garrick and Max Browne were married on Saturday night at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club in Dana Point, California, as PEOPLE can exclusively reveal.
The two have been together for six years and have been engaged since August 2021. They both wore the #4 jersey while competing for USC’s football and volleyball teams, respectively.
For Garrick, 25, “It feels so great,” people are told. “Having come from such athletic backgrounds, we can’t help but think that we are choosing each other to be the one person you get to ‘draft’ onto your team for the rest of your life. Knowing that I will be in this with Max forever is incredibly comforting.”
A reverend officiated the wedding, and the couple both wore the Stefana, a wedding crown that is an essential component of Greek nuptials. The couple also blended Browne’s Christianity and Garrick’s Greek Orthodox heritage into the ceremony.
The bride wore a Galia Lahav couture gown. Chloe Schlossmann’s makeup finished the look, and Bradley Leake did an updo for the ceremony that was followed by glitzy, large waves for the reception. The groom’s outfit was a Zegna tuxedo.
With the help of 200 of their closest friends and family, the newlyweds celebrated their union after saying “I do” and exchanging rings from Happy Jewelers.
