The Red Bull received yet another heartbreaking piece of news as Johnston Horner confirmed…

A little over a day after Horner was found not guilty of any crime after accusations from a female colleague, two anonymous email accounts circulated a dossier of papers they claimed had something to do with the case.

Emails with the subject line “Following Red Bull’s recent investigation and statements you will be interested to see the materials attached” linked to a Google Drive file that held the documents.

More than a hundred recipients received the email, including prominent members of the FIA and Formula 1 organization, the existing team principals, and media with permanent accreditation. Among the recipients was Jos Verstappen, the father of Red Bull driver Max Verstappen.

Although the team read a statement from Horner in the Bahrain paddock, Red Bull has not acknowledged if the documents are authentic or have been fabricated.

Horner was cited as saying, “I have always denied the allegations, but I won’t comment on anonymous speculation.”

“I completely cooperated with the independent investigation at every stage, respecting its objectivity. An independent specialized barrister carried out a comprehensive and impartial inquiry, which has resulted in the dismissal of the complaint. I’m still completely focused on the beginning of the season.”
