The Jacksonville Jaguars head coach was knocked down seriously due to the heartbreaking news he received earlier today, and his players are…

The devastating news that the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars received earlier today, along with his players, knocked him down rather badly.

After being sacked as head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars just 13 games into his scandal-plagued professional career—which included a video of him molesting a young woman at a bar—Urban Meyer expressed his “devastation.”

In addition, Meyer was charged with kicking a Jaguars player in the warm-ups before the game.

The team’s former kicker, Josh Lambo, disclosed earlier this week that Meyer kicked and cursed at him as he was stretching before a session.

Meyer is reported to have responded, “I’m the head ball coach; I’ll kick you whenever the f*** I want,” to Lambo’s request that he never kick him again.

Furthermore, according to Lambo, Meyer threatened to fire him from the team. Meyer has refuted the allegations.

It was the most recent of many stories that suggested his tough coaching style alienated a number of Jaguars.

Meyer’s brief time with the Jaguars was clouded by scandal and off-field issues. In a Columbus, Ohio, pub in October, Meyer, 57, was observed making out with a young woman who was pressing up against him.

Gigi Meyer, his 28-year-old daughter, took to social media to vent her frustration at her father’s detractors.

“The adversary desires for us to break down and retreat into a hole,” Gigi Meyer posted on Instagram. However, I believe you’ve just let the kraken out of me.

She went on, “This isn’t about people’s opinions.” “It doesn’t bother me.” But when people start lying and going after my family, then… After that, I have a problem, and I can’t keep quiet.

Meyer’s dismissal was confirmed earlier this week by Jaguars owner Shad Khan. Meyer finishes his brief Jacksonville career with a record of two victories and eleven defeats.

Meyer reportedly had four years left on his contract when he was let go. According to ESPN, the team had no intention of giving Meyer the remaining funds from the pact.

Meyer’s contract was reportedly for either five seasons at $9 million or $10 million annually, according to a number of publications.

Meyer, who was brought in to lead the team to new heights with star rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence, had kind words for Khan despite the dismissal.

“In my opinion, Shad is an excellent owner,” the sacked coach stated to NFL.com.

It’s quite painful. I simply dreamed of it turning into a popular attraction with the new facilities he promised to construct and of entering the stadium, which will eventually have standing room only.

“Because I am aware of the intense desire of the Jacksonville community.”

I’m really sorry we weren’t able to accomplish that.

I continue to think that it will be completed. It’s just too wonderful a location.

Meyer was going to have a harsh awakening when he entered the NFL after winning several national titles in college. He claimed that it affected him negatively to lose in the pros.

Meyer remarked, “I tell people, losing eats away at your soul.”

When you start losing, everyone finds it difficult.

“I felt that we had some momentum and a lot of energy, and the defense was playing really well at one point when we won two out of three.”

We were running the ball when it stopped working for us, at which point we started flipping the ball over.

“After our bye week, James Robinson gets hurt.”

Meyer was spotted acquiescingly shaking the hand of Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel during his last game with the Jaguars last week.

Meyer’s handshake was criticized as a sign of ill sportsmanship.

However, he stated that Vrabel, who worked as Meyer’s assistant at Ohio State, was not the target of any malice.

“I was asked about Vrabel’s handshake; we have a close relationship,” Meyer remarked.

That wasn’t related to him at all. I can’t take losing, and that’s probably one of my problems, which is why I’ve thought about some of the things I have stated. I make an effort to accept it, but it just saps my soul.

And I think our players are worthy of more.

Meyer worked as an analyst for Fox Sports for three seasons prior to being hired by Khan eleven months ago.

However, since Khan made Meyer’s hire public in January, the squad has been plagued by unfavorable press coverage.

Less than two days after joining the team in February, strength and conditioning coach Chris Doyle, one of Meyer’s initial signings, announced his resignation.

Following the revelation that Doyle had made racist remarks while attending the University of Iowa, Doyle resigned.

Tim Tebow, a former Heisman Trophy winner, was brought in by Meyer in May to try out as a tight end for the Jaguars.

However, Tebow, who played just one preseason game for the Denver Broncos during his brief NFL tenure, never seemed to fit in as tight end and was cut after just one game.

The NFL penalized Meyer $100,000 and the team $200,000 in July for breaking the contact policy during off-season practices.

In the same month, a federal court in Iowa that was considering a racial discrimination case involving Doyle’s hire and departure served subpoenas to both the Jaguars and Meyer.

The most embarrassing incident involving Meyer happened early in October, when unofficial footage of the 57-year-old married grandfather making out with a young blonde lady at the restaurant he owns in Columbus, Ohio, appeared online.

Shad Khan, the owner of the Jaguars, claimed that Urban Meyer was unable to win back his team’s trust. +10; See gallery
The owner of the Jaguars, Shad Khan, claimed that Urban Meyer was unable to win back his team’s trust.

Meyer, a father of three, is seen on camera touching the woman’s behind. His wife was at home looking after the couple’s grandchildren while he was out celebrating.

The event happened the day after Meyer’s squad suffered a defeat at the hands of the Cincinnati Bengals in Cincinnati. Instead of going back to Florida with the team, Meyer remained in Ohio.

The way Meyer acted in the video, according to Khan, was “inexcusable,” and he “must regain our trust and respect.”

Meyer expressed regret for his “dumb” actions and for being a “distraction” to the squad as well as to his family.

James Robinson, the team’s second-year running back, was benched by Meyer earlier this month for the second consecutive week after he fumbled the ball, which caused a commotion in his own locker room.

Robinson’s teammates reportedly expressed dismay at being benched. In response, Meyer laid the responsibility on running backs coach Bernie Parmalee and the unexplained injury that Robinson was recovering from.

It was revealed last week that Meyer got into heated arguments with assistant coaches who were criticized by their manager for being “losers.”

The team’s wide receiver, Marvin Jones Jr., and Meyer also got into a furious argument. After Jones Jr. left the stadium, he wouldn’t come back until he was persuaded to do so.

“After deliberating over many weeks and a thorough analysis of Urban’s entire tenure with our team, I am bitterly disappointed to arrive at the conclusion that an immediate change is imperative for everyone,” Khan said in a statement on Wednesday.

“This evening, I told Urban about the change.”

It was crucial to win back our respect and trust, as I said in October.

“Unfortunately, that did not occur.”

In response to a query from NFL.com about his future plans, Meyer said, “To be determined.”

Meyer is one of two college coaches whose NFL careers ended abruptly, along with Bobby Petrino, the former coach of the Atlanta Falcons.

After joining Atlanta from the University of Louisville in January 2007, Petrino left the Falcons in December of that same year to assume leadership of Arkansas. At that moment, he was 3–10.

In a same vein, Nick Saban, the head coach of Alabama, won a national championship at LSU in 2005 and then joined the Miami Dolphins before joining the Crimson Tide the following year.

Meyer’s limited season ended with a 2-11 record as the Jags’ offensive collapsed. In his final seven games, which included five straight losses, he averaged a pitiful 9.1 points.

For the last four games, starting on Sunday against Houston (2-11), Jacksonville’s temporary head coach will be offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell.

Even though Meyer’s final game as head coach of the Jaguars ended in a 20-0 loss to the Tennessee Titans, just the fourth shutout in team history, his tenure will be remembered for a string of catastrophic off-field events.

Before Khan officially announced his resignation, Lambo claimed Meyer had kicked him while he was stretching at training camp.

“I’ve taken a lunge.” “Right leg back, left leg forward,” Lambo stated to the Tampa Bay Times.

”Hey Dips***, make your f***ing kicks!” Urban Meyer approaches me as I’m stretched out. and gives me a leg kick.

“It wasn’t as difficult as he could have accomplished it, but it wasn’t a romantic gesture either,” Lambo went on. In all honesty, I would rate it a five [out of 10]. Which means that, whether it’s football or not, a manager cannot strike a worker in the workplace. And for an instant, I was in disbelief that it had truly occurred.
