One of the star players for the Detroit Lions who was suspended has returned to the practice squad.
Ceedy Duce continues to work his way back from injured reserve, and he’s not the only impact defender nearing a return for the stretch run in Detroit.
Edge rusher James Houston also suited up for practice on Thursday, starting his clock in his return from a broken fibula that has kept him out since Week 2. He won’t play on Saturday night in Dallas, but he could vie to make the season finale next week, or certainly the playoff beyond that.
Left tackle Taylor Decker also practiced after taking the day off on Wednesday, and there are no doubts about his availability against the Cowboys. He’ll play, giving Detroit a third straight look at its top offensive line heading into the final weeks of the season.
