Due to the match against the Bears, the star player for the New York Jets is suspended because of…
This year, Zach Wilson has been in the news frequently for a number of reasons. His ex-girlfriend recently accused him of being a homie-hopper, which oddly turned him into a viral sensation on the internet.
His mother, a social media celebrity as well, persisted in saying and doing things that kept the homie-hopper story going for a long time. But as soon as the season got underway, attention began to turn to Zach’s performances.
To be fair, he played well early on and led his team to a commanding 5-2 lead. He hasn’t been playing at his best lately, though, and to make matters worse, his remarks made off the field haven’t exactly made his teammates happy either.

Zach Wilson is expected to miss the forthcoming Bears game.
Most recently, the New York Jets offense was heavily criticized after the Patriots defeated them in a low-scoring game. But rather than owning up to his errors, Wilson responded with a haughty “NO” when asked in a press conference if he had failed the team’s defense.
Following that, rumors began to circulate that Wilson was still acting as though he wasn’t the issue at all even after the game. In addition, the Jets’ teammates appeared to be unhappy with their quarterback’s demeanor.

It turns out that Wilson’s situation has now gotten considerably worse. Zach’s teammates were recently informed in a team meeting that he would not be starting in the upcoming game against the Bears, according to NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
This is huge because Wilson has been the target of criticism ever since he gave the press conference following the New England game. Now that he has been benched, we can say that he will need to gain his teammates’ trust once more in order to mount a credible comeback.
