Unbelievable: A key member of the Panthers team who had an affair with a teammate’s wife has been…

The Matildas standout Mary Fowler and league star Nathan Cleary are slowly developing a relationship, and Cleary’s teammates on the Panthers are loving stirring things up a bit.

For months, there has been conjecture regarding the new glamorous pair in Australian sports, and Cleary’s teammates have not taken any action to stop the conversation.

First of all, back in September, Jarome Luai was quite open about the couple when he appeared on the Kyle and Jackie O Show.

Luai said, “Nathan Cleary, shhh,” in response to the question of which Panthers player would be most likely to date a Matildas player.

Luai didn’t miss a beat when asked if the Panthers players had talked about their developing romance.

Winger Brian To’o, another important player in Penrith’s league title three-peat, couldn’t help but take a few jabs at his star halfback.

In the off-season, Cleary has been having a blast, sharing a ton of Instagram pictures from events he’s attended, including weddings, races, the UFC, and helicopter tours of New York City.

The titles of the posts are “Part 2” and “Offseason part 1.”

To’o makes the first comment alongside part one, cheekily referencing Fowler by writing “My guy” with soccer ball and love heart emojis.

In the second segment, To’o was once more the first person off the rank; this time, he accompanied “My guy” with emojis of a diamond ring and a soccer ball.

Among the responses to the second comment are “Nathan will get you when he gets home” and “haha stirring the pot.”

Cleary voiced his displeasure at the intense interest in his personal life when the rumors first started to circulate online.

When Fowler was spotted in July having a romantic moment with the NSW State of Origin playmaker, rumors about the couple initially started to circulate.

Cleary remarked, “I like to keep anything I can private and not talk about it too much, but it’s kind of annoying to not have a private life.”
