Another heartbreaking rumor stated that a prominent Devils player killed his wife by stabbing her due to drug misuse.
After taking drugs he obtained from the dark web, a father fatally stabbed his wife, an art teacher, in court.
According to the Daily Mail, in February 2022, Conrad Iyayi “brutally and needlessly” killed his 52-year-old wife Kathryn Harris after consuming what he thought to be brandy and methadone.
Derby Crown Court heard that he discovered Ms. Harris face down in a pool of blood and only wearing a T-shirt the following morning.
The court heard that three blood-stained kitchen knives were placed next to an open bottle of brandy in the vicinity.
When police woke the 11-year-old son up that morning, he had not heard about his mother’s death, according to prosecutor Gordon Aspen KC.
“In the wee hours of February 6, 2022, this defendant killed Kathryn by stabbing her to death in the kitchen of their family home,” the statement reads. Mr. Aspen continued.
The specific motivation of this defendant does not need to be proven, and only two people actually knew.
“Kathryn is one of them dead, and this defendant has never once admitted the truth.” You will hear evidence, though, that suggests his prior use of alcohol and drugs contributed to his actions before the murder.
Katherine Jane Harris. See SWMDmurder, a SWNS story. After a 44-year-old man was accused of killing a popular art teacher, tributes were given to the woman who was killed at home. At 7:15 a.m. on Sunday, June 2, Kathryn Jane Harris, also known as Katy, was discovered at a house on Oak Crescent, Littleover, Derbys, with serious injuries. She was declared deceased at the scene despite the efforts of the medics. Conrad Iyayi, 44, who lives at the same address, is scheduled to appear before Derby Magistrates Court today (Tue) on a murder charge.

“In the end, all that remains is a senseless death and a vicious murder.”
Ms. Harris, who also has two adult children, was employed at a Mickleover, Derbyshire, special needs school.
From a phone box at the end of his street in the Littleover suburb, Iyayi dialed 999.
“Just get the police here straight away,” he instructed the operator. I’ve killed someone, bring the cops here.
