Due to his wife, The coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars has officially announced his retirement
Trevor Lawrence, the quarterback for the Jaguars, sprained his ankle against the Bengals, and was in significant pain on Monday night. And yet this Thursday, he was in practice.
During practice, a video of Lawrence throwing passes was posted on social media by the Jaguars.
Marissa, Lawrence’s spouse, shared the identical video on Instagram. She only had one simple caption: “Tough cookie.”

Lawrence is without a doubt the toughest around. It’s amazing that he hasn’t been ruled out for Week 14.
Lawrence informed the media that he is happy with his recovery thus far. He won’t, however, guarantee that he will play this Sunday against the Browns.
According to Lawrence, “I’m really just taking it one day at a time,” according to ESPN. “Each day, I’m attempting to do as much as I can to move closer to hopefully playing while also trying not to aggravate it or make things worse. And in the last 48 hours, there have been some significant developments, and I’m thrilled with the way the wound is healing.
“Well, we’ll see. As you can see, I’m unable to respond at this time. I’ll just take my time and make sure everything is done correctly.”
Lawrence’s replacement at quarterback would be C.J. Beathard if he is unable to play this Sunday.
