A bullet toward the conclusion of the Miami Dolphins’ SB celebration claimed one life and injured twenty-one more.

Following the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade and celebration on Wednesday, gunshots were heard, resulting in one fatality and at least 21 injuries. 22 persons were shot during a press conference, according to Kansas City (Mo.) Police Department Chief of Police Stacey Graves. There were at least seven injuries that could be fatal.
According to Graves, an inquiry into the shooting’s motivation is in progress. Regarding Wednesday’s event, she said, three people have been placed under arrest and are being investigated. “Officers … immediately rendered life-saving aid to those victims,” added Graves. “We know one of the victims (was) deceased.” The shooting claimed the life of disc jockey Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a mother of two from Shawnee, Kansas.

KKFI, a radio station, said, “It is with sincere sadness and an extremely heavy and broken heart that we let our community know that KKFI DJ Lisa Lopez, host of Taste of Tejano lost her life today in the shooting at the KC Chiefs’ rally.” Legislator for Jackson County, Missouri, Manny Abarca tweeted, “I’ve known Lisa and her family for more than ten years. I’ve seen that smile on the stage of our biggest Fiesta in Kansas City as well as across DJ equipment. I refuse to accept her death as (vain). To improve this State and City, I WILL fight, I WILL legislation, and I WILL exert all effort within my ability.”
