Sad news: One of the most talented Indianapolis colts is infatuated as a result of his son being kidnapped.

The Indianapolis Colts defeated the Tennessee Titans 23–16 on Sunday afternoon to maintain their home field advantage and raise their record to 3-2.

They would, however, play the majority of the game without franchise quarterback Anthony Richardson because of a right shoulder injury. Later on, it was discovered to be a sprain of the AC joint. The X-ray results were negative, which is good news on that front. Ian Rapoport, an NFL insider, broke the story.

Given the divisional victory’s ups and downs, it’s worthwhile to examine three of them and what might come next.

The Positive: RB Zack Miller

The three-year, $42 million contract that great runner Jonathan Taylor inked with the Colts over the weekend was the big news. However, he was on a pitch count and only recorded 6 carries for 18 yards and 1 grab for 16 yards, as was advertised.

Given how long Taylor was out of commission, this is to be expected. But Zack Moss proved once more that he is a monster all his own.

23 times, he would carry the ball for 165 yards (7.2 average) and two touchdowns.

Moss has shown himself to be a starting back for the Colts and the NFL thus far. He showed little effort in his backfield awareness and instincts as he hit the spaces slowly and beautifully. This was against the Titans’ defense, which entered the game ranked first in yards allowed per attempt.

Even once Taylor returns to school at full strength, expect Moss to play a bigger part in this Shane Steichen offensive in some way.

The Negative: Pass Rush

Regarding stopping running back Derrick Henry, the Colts are able to mark that item.

Henry made 13 tries, only managing 43 yards and 8 longs. This is a huge victory considering his past encounters with the Colts.

But even without Kwity Paye’s (concussion), the offensive line of the undermanned Titans held their own against the Colts’ pass rush.

The Titans gave Ryan Tannehill an astounding 16 sacks before this game. They would, however, hold off the Colts, giving defensive end Samson Ebukham’s lone sack allowance.

Even with Paye out, the Colts should have been able to contribute more, even though the defense performed admirably overall.

Although Ebukam is still deserving of the contract he signed in the offseason, the Colts must improve their pass rush in their upcoming game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
