In his first NFL season, running back Bijan Robinson of the Atlanta Falcons, a former star of the Texas Longhorns, is slaying it. He is deserving of a spot in the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award final four.
Loreal Sarkisian, the wife of Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian, supported her husband’s Rookie of the Year nominee, Bijan Robinson, on Instagram. She showed her support for the former Texas standout by reposting an image from the Atlanta Falcons’ Instagram account.

In his three seasons at Texas, Robinson has already proven to be a five-star running back. Jahmyr Gibbs (Lions), Puka Nacua (Rams), Sam LaPorta (Lions), and CJ Stroud (Texans) are the award’s finalists.
Robinson led Arthur Smith’s team with 976 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns, and 58 receptions for 487 yards. Robinson is ranked as the eighth overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
On January 8, 2024, the Falcons fired Smith, and he will now play for new head coach Raheem Morris.

In Week 7 of the 2023 NFL season, the former running back for the Longhorns forced then-Atlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith to pay a $25,000 fine.
With just one carry for three yards and no rushing attempts or passing targets in the first half of the game, Robinson’s stat line against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers caught people off guard.
Robinson was said to be feeling under the weather, but this was not noted on the Falcons’ injury report, which is against NFL policy regarding personnel injury reports.

Consequently, the NFL fined the Atlanta Falcons $75,000 and hit head coach Arthur Smith with an additional $25,000 for failing to disclose Robinson’s condition.
