CINCINNATI — The Bengals announced on Monday that nine players had signed reserve/futures contracts. These players will be with the team when the summer begins and are not allowed to negotiate with other teams due to the terms of their contracts.

See the list of names and further information on this kind of agreement here:

Domenique Davis, DT, CB Allan George C. DE Nate Gilliam Jeff Gunter LB Heyward Shaka
Shedrick, WR Jackson
Kirkland, G. Jaxson (Practice Squad/List of injured)
WR Kendric Pryor WR Kwamie Lassiter II

Domenique Davis, a defensive tackle, was added by the Bengals on Friday to the active roster. The veteran has been a member of the practice squad the entire season.

With DJ Reader out for the season, expect Davis to play behind B.J. Hill, Jay Tufele, and Josh Tupou.

For the Bengals’ game against the Steelers on Saturday, they also added wide receiver Shedrick Jackson and cornerback Sidney Jones IV from the practice squad to the active roster.

With DJ Ivey out for the season and Ja’Marr Chase sidelined due to an ankle ailment, both decisions make sense.
