Fans and players for the Sun Devils are inconsolable as one of their most devoted players’ mother has been declared dead from a…..

In relation to his mother’s death last month, former NFL defensive back Sergio Brown was taken into custody by San Diego police on Tuesday, according to the Maywood, Illinois, police.

Police claim that Brown entered the country again through Mexico and was being detained in San Diego prior to his extradition to Illinois, where he is accused of first-degree murder. How long he had been in Mexico was unknown.

Myrtle Brown, his 73-year-old mother, was found dead following an attack that left her with numerous injuries. About 12 miles west of downtown Chicago, in the Maywood neighborhood, her body was found next to a creek behind her house.

When the Brown family members couldn’t get in touch with Brown and his mother, they informed the police, according to the police. After her body was discovered, he went missing.

Her death was determined to be a homicide, a Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office spokeswoman said last month.

Prior to signing a contract as a defensive back with the New England Patriots in 2010, Brown, 35, attended the University of Notre Dame. In addition, he was a player for the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Buffalo Bills during his final season in 2016.
