The Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce’s Super Bowl has been moved because of…
With Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs took the NFL by storm in recent years, winning two Super Bowls. Brett Favre thinks he knows who will be held accountable if the team doesn’t win the Lombardi Trophy this season.
Swift and Kelce, 34, started dating early in the 2023 NFL season. The multibillionaire entertainer was the center of attention for the media and cameras whenever he attended a Chiefs game, both at home and away.
While most NFL analysts and programming have concentrated on the Chiefs’ on-field performance, Swift’s friendship with Kelce has made headlines for other people.

The focus on Swift and Kelce has done wonders for both celebrities. Kelce’s New Heights podcast was one of the most popular podcasts in 2023. The relationship has also dramatically boosted Kelce’s jersey sales while increasing Swift’s reach to a new audience. However, not everyone believes it will be viewed as a positive.
In an interview with TMZ Sports, Favre suggested that Swift’s presence and the media attention around her relationship with Kelce could be a distraction. If the Chiefs are ultimately eliminated from the NFL playoffs, the Hall of Fame quarterback thinks Swift could receive some blame
Favre does have a point regarding fans’ willingness to blame a romantic partner for an athlete’s struggles. When Aaron Rodgers dated Olivia Munn, Shailene Woodley, and Danica Patrick, fans blamed them for Rodgers’ on-field struggles.

It’s also worth noting that Favre doesn’t necessarily believe it will even be an issue for the Chiefs. As he told TMZ, he believes Kansas City is “going all the way” and has a legitimate chance to win a third Super Bowl with Mahomes, Kelce and Andy Reid.
If the Chiefs are knocked out of the playoffs and any fans start blaming Swift for the team’s poor performance, it’s safe to assume Kelce will use his platform on the New Heights podcast to strongly push back against the criticism.
