According to Travis Kelce, Reid should have hit him for his Super Bowl outburst.
One of the biggest distractions from their thrilling Super Bowl victory last night was Travis Kelce’s meltdown moment in front of coach Andy Reid on the sidelines.
However, it was unclear what enraged the player and what he said to the Kansas City coach while he was being physically abusive and knocked out.
It can now be seen on DailyMail.com that the tight end yelled, “Keep me in.” You f****r! “Now that lip readers have figured out the pair’s viral exchange, I’m calm!”
The 34-year-old Kelce lost his temper during Sunday’s game when one of his teammates mishandled a pass intended for quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
He then gave Reid a body bump that made him briefly unbalanced, grabbed his arm, and started yelling at him while his pop star girlfriend Taylor Swift looked on from the $1 million seat family suite in Las Vegas’s Allegiant Stadium.
The intense altercation ended when Kelce was hauled away from the 65-year-old coach by teammate Jerrod McKinnon.
Refusing to go into specifics of the altercation, Kelce claimed that Reid is “one of the best leaders of men I’ve ever seen in my life” and that his anger sprang from his desire for the score to be different following the team’s victory.
