It’s probable that the 2024 Royals will surpass the 2023 team in games won by at least 25. Even though it’s not even August yet, this year’s squad has already won more games than the one from previous year. That is incredible.

 

How did this group succeed? What’s Second, Bobby Witt Jr. has become a superstar and has managed to surpass his breakout season from the previous year in terms of productivity. Third, with three new starters, the starting pitching has improved in ways that are nearly incomprehensible.

However, as time passes, it appears more and more likely that the 2024 Royals are a mirage, similar to the Nosotros Creemos 2003 team, another Royals team that started winning a year after losing 100 games.

Simply put, the Royals are a good squad! With their first, second, and third order winning percentages, they are a winning club with an excellent run differential. They have played well so far, and their record is one of victory. Put another, their record is justified; they are not an anomaly.
