The Lions have already been asked to interview defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn and offensive coordinator Ben Johnson for the head coaching position at Washington, even before Black Monday has officially begun. Campbell encourages both guys to pursue executive positions.
“You know what, those two guys are more than deserving of the opportunity to be head coach candidates,” Campbell remarked. Where you are does not matter to me. I think that two are among the greatest that you will come upon. They are with us, nonetheless, till then. Although it is not how I want to lose either of them, that is how things work.
