Alarming information: The Penrith Panthers have made yet another amazing move.
In a double boost, the Panthers signed Brad Schneider from the Raiders and Paul Alamoti from the Bulldogs to increase their depth in the centers and halves.
The Panthers released a statement saying, “Penrith Panthers is pleased to announce the signings of Paul Alamoti and Brad Schneider ahead of next season.”
Schneider has signed a two-year contract with the Panthers, while Alamoti will join the team for the 2024 campaign.
After making his first-grade debut in Round 1, 19-year-old outside back Alamoti played 19 NRL games for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs this season.
The junior Milperra Colts player was chosen for the 2019 Australian Schoolboys merit squad and played in the 2018 Under-19 State of Origin for New South Wales.
Schneider, who played for Hull KR this year, will also join the team prior to the 2024 campaign.
Before heading to the Super League, the halfback played 12 games in the first grade for the Canberra Raiders, where he made his NRL debut in 2021.
The 22-year-old halfback, who has played eight games overseas, is back in Australia.
CEO of the Panthers Rugby League Matt Cameron stated, “On behalf of all at Panthers, we look forward to welcoming Paul and Brad to the club.”
Paul is a young footballer full of potential and talent. His skills and background make him a valuable addition to our team, and we are excited to have him join the team.
Brad will provide the Panthers’ top-30 roster more depth as he joins the team with experience in the NRL and Super League. Brad is a gifted playmaker, and we think playing for the Panthers will help him succeed.
