Aliyah Boston was found to have yet another serious injury at this time.

The New York Liberty defeated the Indiana Fever 104-68 on Sunday, handing them their ninth loss of the WNBA season.

Due to injuries to their ankles and ears, respectively, Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston—India’s two best players—went to the locker room in the game’s fourth quarter.

Christie Sides, the head coach of the Indiana Fever, made the decision to start both of these young superstars back in the game after they recovered from their ailments and the Fever being blown out.

Regarding Boston and Clark, Sides remarked, “They wanted to fight.” “They desired a spot in that contest. They made an effort to make the game seem closer than it was. They are also proud. The reason was that they wanted to enter and continue fighting.”

All elite athletes have a natural desire to see their team succeed. even when there are blowouts.

However, a head coach’s responsibility is to make informed choices on behalf of their players.

Luckily, Sides’ choice did not cause any additional injuries to Boston or Clark.
