A major agony for Bears once more…

For their final regular-season game, the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers both have injury reports available, and both teams have a long list.

Due to his continued participation in concussion protocol, wide receiver Darnell Mooney has already been ruled out of the Bears’ game. Mooney finishes with 31 receptions, 414 yards, and one score to cap up his season and perhaps his Bears career.

Pro Bowl cornerback Jaylon Johnson, another upcoming free agency, is marked as doubtful due to a shoulder issue he worsened during the Atlanta game. Despite his stated intention to play, the trainers might not approve him given his lack of preparation this week.

“We are just trying to get him to game time… with that caliber of player, we are doing everything we can to get him to the game,” Johnson’s head coach Matt Eberflus stated.

The health of every other Bear is in doubt, including center Lucas Patrick (calf), long snapper Patrick Scales (foot), tight end Cole Kmet (knee), running back Khalil Herbert (back/personal), and nickel Kyler Gordon (calf).
