Sunderland’s ‘talented’ Super Star now tipped to make first league start v Huddersfield

It appears that Adil Aouchiche will start for Sunderland for the first time as a senior.

According to The Northern Echo, Mark Venus has acknowledged that, following an outstanding debut on Wearside, he “deserves” to be near the team.
Before moving to the Championship, Adil Aouchiche made 11 games in Ligue 1 for Lorient, although he was unable to score a professional goal.

Arriving on the day of the transfer deadline, the Frenchman did not play for Sunderland until the team’s 3-1 victory over QPR in the middle of September.

After several strong cameos, Tony Mowbray had previously disclosed that Aouchiche was expected to make his club debut against Leicester City. However, an injury caused the midfielder to leave the game.

Following his substitution against Birmingham City, Aouchiche scored his first goal for the team. With the Black Cats’ weekend loss to Plymouth Argyle, the 21-year-old may potentially have a chance to start tonight.

Assistant coach Mark Venus stated during the pre-game press conference, “He has to be close to the team; he deserves that.”

He seems to have adapted to the team the quickest out of all the players we added over the summer, in my opinion. He’s a gifted child, and based on his bench performances, I believe everyone has taken note. I believe you need to pay attention to him.
