Sad news: The Indianapolis Colts star RB Jonathan Taylor injured vs. the Texans, and we will be going for…
TAYLOR INJURED JAN. 6 The running game of the Colts, led by standout back Jonathan Taylor, had the Houston Texans in a tight spot in Indianapolis.
Unfortunately for Houston, Taylor’s difficult year continued on Saturday as he was the first to leave the game due to a heel injury late in the third quarter.
It is currently doubtful if he will go back.
At the time of the injury, Taylor alone had accounted for 21 carries, 165 yards, and a touchdown for the Colts’ running total of over 200 yards.
Without Taylor in the lineup, the Colts managed to tie the score at 17 with a field goal at the end of their final drive.
DEC 31 BIG MAN TD Against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, the Houston Texans are up and running.
After a touchdown pass from C.J. Stroud put Houston ahead by two scores in the first quarter, Jerry Hughes strip-sacking Titans quarterback Will Levis and Sheldon Rankins scoping it for a touchdown early in the second quarter gave Houston a three-point lead.
This is both Rankins’ first career touchdown and the Texans’ first defensive touchdown of the year.
TUNSIL DOWN DEC 17? Due to what appears to be a lower-body injury, Texas left tackle Laremy Tunsil was forced to miss the team’s crucial AFC South game against the Titans on Sunday.
Tunsil had to miss three games earlier in the season due to knee problems that he has been dealing with all season.
Josh Jones has taken Tunsil’s spot in the starting lineup, and it is currently uncertain when he will be back.
KEENUM STARTING DEC 16 The Houston Texans plan to start Case Keenum at quarterback instead of the injured C.J. Stroud, per reports from KPRC.
