Unexpected news: the Dallas Cowboys shed tears when the announcer declared the head coach’s passing.

The renowned former coach of the Dallas Cowboys football club, Jimmy Johnson, has revealed to his supporters that he is still alive.

When a second Jimmy Johnson, who had also played in the National Football League, passed away, there was a death mix-up. They have a name in common and celebrated professional football careers. The Cowboys coach did, however, tell supporters that he is still “kicking.”

“Jimmy Johnson, 49ers HOF DB, passed away at the age of 86.RIP, Jimmy Johnson, the Dallas Cowboys Hall of Famer, and FOX are still going strong. Johnson of the Cowboys wrote on X on May 10.

In the comment thread, a few supporters expressed their belief that the Cowboys coach was deceased. “I’m sure you received a ton of emails and other stuff today. A person wrote, “I freaked out. “Gave us a little fright there,” commented a different enthusiast.

Johnson, a 49ers player, has his own amazing feats. The Pro Football Hall of Fame noted in a tribute, “Johnson is a charter member of the San Francisco 49ers Hall of Fame (2009), inductee into the Fresno Athletic Hall of Fame (1978), and a member of the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame (1990), UCLA Athletics Hall of Fame (1992).

According to the website, “JIMMY JOHNSON’S career is being celebrated today in the professional football world. He was a versatile and gifted all-around athlete who spent 16 seasons as a dominant cornerback in the National Football League with the San Francisco 49ers.”

Johnson, who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1994, passed away at home on May 8, 2024. According to his family, he had been in poor health for some time and had stayed in the San Francisco region following his career, according to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
