Alex Simmons adds Bailey Gilmore to 2024-25 Memphis Women’s Basketball Roster.

Bailey Gilmore, a strong post player, has joined the Memphis Tigers’ Women’s Basketball roster.

Memphis, Tennessee — Another new player has been added to the Memphis Women’s Basketball squad for 2024-25. On Wednesday, head coach Alex Simmons confirmed the signing of Bailey Gilmore. “We are pleased to have Bailey as part of our curriculum. “She is an extremely versatile player who will provide rim protection and depth to our paint game,” Simmons stated. “She will also provide more versatility to our offensive strategy. Bailey is an excellent athlete and even better person who will bring wonderful energy to our program and the city.”

Gilmore, a 6-3 post player, previously attended Vanderbilt as a redshirt freshman. She was a 2023 McDonald’s All-American nominee and three-time All-Region honoree at the Bradwell Institute. During her senior year, she averaged 12.4 points and 9.1 rebounds per game, scoring in double digits 13 times.
