If he is not fired, I will leave the Arizona Cardinals head coach, as he has a misunderstanding with his star player.

I will step down as head coach of the Arizona Cardinals if he is not sacked because of a disagreement with a key player.

After four seasons in command, Kliff Kingsbury was fired as head coach of the Arizona Cardinals. The team finished 2022 with seven straight losses and missed the NFL playoffs. Kingsbury was fired a year after agreeing to a contract extension that would have kept him in place until 2027.

Only a year after agreeing to a contract deal that kept him under contract until the 2027 campaign, Kingsbury has announced his resignation.

His new contract was his reward for ending the squad’s five-season postseason drought, having led the team to 7-0 and 10-2 records at different points in the season.

Before losing badly to the Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card round, the Cardinals had dropped four of their last five regular-season games.
