Another of the year,The WKU basketball time player has move ahead to organise multiple…

KY – BOWLING GREEN WKU Hilltopper Basketball announced its complete schedule, which includes 16 home games, two exhibitions, and at least two Power Five games in addition to 20 Conference USA games and 11 non-conference games.

“We have a difficult schedule once more,” head coach Rick Stansbury remarked. It offers our team some fantastic opportunities. We anticipate playing some excellent opponents in some excellent games.”

WKU’s two exhibitions on John O. Oldham Court will kick off the year. On November 2, the Hilltoppers take on the Montevallo Falcons, and on November 5, they play the Georgetown College Tigers.

The Hilltoppers will open the season at Eastern Kentucky in the Bluegrass state in their first official game of the year. WKU and the Colonels will battle.

Nov. 10, Thursday, in Richmond. In the legendary series, Western Kentucky is 115-44 all-time against EKU and 47-27 in Richmond.

On November 12 at E.A. Diddle Arena, WKU will play its home opener against the Kentucky State Thoroughbreds, another in-state team. On November 15, the Hilltoppers will play at home against the University of Indianapolis.

The week of Thanksgiving, WKU will then travel to the Cayman Islands Classic for three games. Nov. 21 at 12:30 p.m. CT, the Hilltoppers take on the Akron Zips to open the bracket. The final game is scheduled for November 23. On November 22, they will play LSU or Illinois State. For additional details about the Cayman Islands Classic,be located right here.

On Saturday, Nov. 26, South Carolina State will visit Bowling Green, and on Nov. 30, WKU will visit Austin Peay. The home non-conference schedule concludes on December 10 with a game against Wright State.

WKU plays two Power Five opponents away to close out its non-conference schedule. The Hilltoppers and Louisville Cardinals will square off in the KFC Yum! Center for the first time since 2020. On December 18, 2021, WKU defeated Louisville at home for the first time ever, giving the Tops 11 Power Five wins in the previous five seasons.

To wrap up their non-conference schedule, the Hilltoppers travel to Columbia, South Carolina, on December 22 to play another Power Five team.

Eleven teams in all C-USA for the 2022–2023 season, the league campaign consists of 20 conference games total, home and away against every league school.

The C-USA schedule begins on December 29 at Diddle Arena, home of the Hilltoppers. On New Year’s Eve, WKU makes the short trip down the road to play Middle Tennessee.

After hosting North Texas, the defending C-USA West Division champion, at home on January 5, WKU will travel to play two games: at UTSA on January 7 and at UAB, the 2022 C-USA Tournament champion, on January 11.

Over the course of one weekend, the Hilltoppers will host two Florida schools: Florida Atlantic on Monday, January 16, and FIU on Friday.

WKU travels to Louisiana Tech the following weekend in January.19 before returning home to play one game on the 21st against Charlotte. The Hilltoppers’ road swing through Florida, which includes FIU on January 26 and Florida Atlantic on January 28, will cap off the month.

The Hilltoppers begin the month of February with a three-game homestand. WKU has a bye on Saturday and hosts UTSA, UTEP, and Middle Tennessee on February 2, 4, and 9.

Before concluding the month at home, WKU visits Rice on February 18 and Charlotte on February 16. The Hilltoppers will play their final two league home games on February 23 at Louisiana Tech and February 25 at UAB.

The Hilltoppers’ final two regular-season games are scheduled for March 2 at UTEP and March 4 at North Texas.

The Gathering For the sixth consecutive year, the USA Tournament will take place at The Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. The competition will take place on March 8 and run through March 11 on Saturday.
