Two weeks ago, Pat Kelsey was appointed head coach of the University of Louisville basketball team.
The previous head coach of Charleston has been very busy attempting to assemble a roster and a staff. Three new players have already been added by Kelsey to the squad, and every player from the roster from the previous season has registered on the transfer portal.
Kelsey will now attempt to add a few more this weekend.
Two former Charleston players are among the four college basketball transfers whom Louisville is housing.
He would’ve been a first-round pick last June but still elected to return to the program for another shot at winning a National Championship, and, while it didn’t happen for the Blue Devils this season, the 5-star recruit left his mark on the program.
