Fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes found out they wouldn’t have to put up with Brian Ferentz and his lackluster offense for another season. Ferentz will play out the season, but the Iowa athletic administration has announced that he will not be taking the Hawkeye offense’s starting position after this one.

Iowa supporters are undoubtedly relieved at the ruling, but many feel that this is just a portion of the issue with Iowa’s poor offensive performance. Because he is the son of head coach Kirk Ferentz, some fans feel that Brian Ferentz’s tenure at Iowa was excessively prolonged.
