Despite giving his opponents two dirty hits in two weeks that resulted in concussions, NFL player Kareem Jackson is expected to avoid a suspension.
Safety Jackson of the Denver Broncos was ejected last Sunday during a 35-33 loss to the Washington Commanders after he brutally tackled Logan Thomas. After Commanders tight end Thomas completed a 4-yard touchdown pass, Jackson tackled him.
Thomas was left on the ground at Empower Field at Mile High after the head-on collision and had to be removed later. His fellow commanders were understandably incensed about the hit and went straight up to the Broncos player who had committed the foul.

A costly mistake for the Denver team occurred when Jackson was ejected by match officials after they had separated. In the first quarter of their Week 2 matchup, the Broncos dominated and took a commanding 14-3 lead.
The Washington team’s ability to cut the deficit by seven points in the second quarter was made possible by Jackson’s ejection. The visiting team then took over the game, winning the third and fourth quarters handily to record their second victory of the year.
Jackson’s season has been controversial from the beginning, as he has already caused concussions to two opponents and clashed with Las Vegas Raiders receiver Jakobi Meyers in Week 1. The Broncos player is expected to escape additional punishment despite two straight illegal hits, per ESPN.
