Great news: The Philadelphia eagles former head coach Jose Peseiro announced his return…

Though the Philadelphia Eagles are a legendary NFL team, their history of head coaches is a litany of unfulfilled promises and short tenures.

With Doug Pederson and Nick Sirianni joining the elite group of coaches to have won a postseason game in the last five years, the Eagles are among the league’s gold standard companies.

We’re going to list the ten greatest head coaches in team history from top to bottom as 2023 training camp draws near.

Coaches who have overseen at least 15 Eagles games are included in our list. Wins and losses are important, but they are not the only thing that determines the ranking in our opinion.

Kelly’s playoff appearance propels him above Jim Trimble (1952–1955) on the list.

After leaving Oregon, he had two seasons of 10-6 results as head coach.

After a 6-9 season, Kelly moved on from LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson. With one game left, he was fired.

Howie Roseman was able to regain control after that departure, and the rest is history.

In his two seasons as head coach of the Eagles, Shaw finished 19-16-1, although he is one of three coaches with a championship, having defeated the Packers in the 1960 championship game alongside Vince Lombardi and Bart Starr.
