SAD report, The top player for LSU Women’s basketball has officially announced to step down, Due to her marriage…

It’s the ideal time to turn back time and explore LSU women’s basketball history as the Lady Tigers prepare for another thrilling Elite 8 matchup versus Iowa.

Angel Reese a  guard for the LSU women’s basketball team who was fired from the university in December, has signed up for a transfer portal in order to carry on with her basketball career.

Insider Talia Goodman of The Next, who covers college basketball, broke the initial news.

Before the 2022–2023 season, Poole, a junior from the Bronx, transferred from Ohio State to LSU. He played a crucial part on the team that won the national championship the previous year. She averaged 4.5 points and 2.6 rebounds per game in 35 appearances, including six starts.

Nevertheless, she only made four appearances this season. On November 17, she made her last appearance in a victory over Southeastern Louisiana. Coach Kim Mulkey declared on December 10 that she had been fired from the team for unspecified reasons.

Even though the LSU Tigers men’s team gets most of the attention, the Lady Tigers have left their mark on collegiate basketball history by continuously displaying unmatched skill on the field.
