SAD report, The ohio state Buckeyes top player has officially announced to step down, Due to his marriage.
It’s true that nobody ever truly loses in spring games, but Drue Chrisman emerged from Ohio State’s spring game as the clear winner.
The Buckeyes punter proposed to his girlfriend, Avery, during halftime this past weekend, marking a significant turning point in his life. But Chrisman didn’t make the suggestion right away. Rather, he was able to bring Avery onto the field for a fictitious extra point kick competition.
Chrisman was already in the ideal position to ask her to marry him. She replied yes, of course. The newly engaged pair was then joined by the remaining Buckeyes on the field to celebrate.
After dating for a number of years, the couple intends to tie the knot in 2019. According to The Columbus Dispatch, Chrisman stated, “I couldn’t think of a better place to do it than in Ohio Stadium, with the history behind the stadium.” “To be able to do that was just a privilege.”
A season ago, Chrisman averaged over forty-three yards per punt for the Buckeyes, making him a special teams rock star. He is a third-year starter going into 2019.
