The two most talented players at the Mavericks  have been suspended due to a misunderstanding, which is unbelievable news for their brave fans.

NEW YORK (AP) Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks has avoided a one-game suspension for the time being as the NBA revoked his 16th technical foul on Monday.

Doncic was given permission by the NBA to play on Monday night against Indiana as the struggling Mavericks attempt to remain in the Western Conference playoff race.

One spot out of the play-in tournament a year after making it to the conference finals, Dallas started the game against the Pacers, ranked eleventh in the West.

The Mavs have lost their last four games, including two straight against Charlotte, a weak team. In the second of those defeats on Sunday, Doncic received a technical that was later reversed.

With 7:51 left in the third quarter of a 110-104 loss, Doncic challenged a no-call after missing a shot on a drive to the hoop, which led to the technical foul.

Doncic used “a profanity directed at the officials in protest to a no-call that was correctly judged in the postgame video review,” according to crew chief Kevin Scott, who made this claim in a pool report following the game.

This season, it is Doncic’s second technical foul to be overturned.

Doncic said he was as frustrated as he had ever been in his incredible five-year career, which included four trips to the All-Star game, following the Hornets’ first defeat in Dallas last week.

Doncic stated that problems in his personal life were affecting him off the court, but he did not go into further detail.

The 24-year-old expressed such feelings on the same day that he was fined $35,000 for obscene gestures toward the officials, while he was obviously angry about a missed layup call in the closing seconds.

Doncic remarked, “I think you can see it with me on the court.” I don’t always feel like it’s me. On the court, I used to really enjoy myself and smile, but it’s been incredibly frustrating for a number of reasons other than basketball.
