The Detroit Lions at the Dallas Cowboys earlier today
The Dallas Cowboys, who are 7-0 at AT&T Stadium after outscoring opponents 279-108, have been the most explosive team in the NFL when playing at home this season. They average 39.9 points.
Thus, it’s a good thing that Cam Sutton, the Detroit Lions‘ best veteran cornerback, will be available. Sutton missed practice on Thursday due to a toe injury, so the Lions listed him as questionable to play tonight. As part of Detroit’s strategy to contain Dallas’ skilled receiving group, which is led by CeeDee Lamb (109 receptions for 1,424 yards and nine touchdowns), Sutton is active.
Tyson Alualu, a veteran defensive lineman, was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster and will make his Lions debut against the Cowboys. The 14-year veteran, who has played in 139 games (103 starts) over his career, spent the last six seasons with Pittsburgh. He is a valuable asset to Detroit’s interior line. Due to Alualu’s availability, Detroit has placed defensive linemen Brodric Martin and Levi Onwuzurike on inactive status.

Veteran edge rusher Bruce Irvin has also been added to the active roster for tonight’s NFC matchup after being promoted from the practice squad. The Lions forced Julian Okwara to be inactive while Irvin was playing.
