Regretfully, the LSU Tigers announcer has revealed yet another potentially fatal injury from…
Baton Rouge — The LSU football team’s injured list is getting greater as the 2024 season draws nearer. Now for the awful news. The good news is that, according to Tigers head coach Brian Kelly, there shouldn’t be any player injury concerns leading up to Sunday night’s season opener versus USC in Las Vegas (6:30 p.m., ABC).
During LSU’s seventeenth preseason practice on Wednesday morning, sophomore linebacker West Weeks and senior right guard Miles Frazier were not present. Both were spotted wearing walking boots and were positioned apart as the team practiced on the fields for two hours. Although they did not practice, rookie receiver Jelani Watkins, wide receiver Chris Hilton, and junior defensive back Sage Ryan were all spotted with the squad.
Watkins is still dealing with a foot sprain, Ryan is dealing with a grade one hamstring ailment, and Hilton has a bone bruise.
