Neil Diamond’s Home Before Dark has a new digital deluxe edition available right now.
Home Before Dark, the renowned singer-songwriter’s second album for American Recordings, was first released on May 5, 2008. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in North America, where it received a platinum certification. It also peaked at the top of album charts in other countries, such as the UK and New Zealand.

Neil Diamond wrote the original songs on Home Before Dark, along with a few remakes. It was created by Dana Nielsen mixed the work with Rick Rubin. David Campbell, who is as well-known for his arrangements and conducts of symphonic pieces, worked on records with a wide range of performers, including Elton John, Post Malone, and The Rolling Stones. The song “Pretty Amazing Grace” lead the original album, while the two new bonus tracks “Without Her” and “Make You Feel My Love” are included in the deluxe edition.

Following up on the success of Diamond’s 2005 album 12 Songs’ digital deluxe release is the new edition of Home Before Dark. The reissue of that album, which came out almost twenty years after the first one, included fifteen brand-new additional tracks for download and streaming, some of which were available for the first time. Among the latest releases are Loved Diamond songs like “Oh Mary,” “Delirious Love,” and “Save Me a Saturday Night” were recorded as demos, early takes, alternate takes, and alternate mixes.
