During today’s press conference, the captain of the Colorado Avalanche attempted to provide as vague an update as possible regarding his expected return date. Probably unintentional, but perhaps he mistakenly believed that everyone was aware of the timeline.
The Avalanche’s Gabriel Landeskog has been recuperating from a knee injury for quite some time. He claimed that he “mentally felt close” and that everything physically appeared to be going according to plan.
Landeskog can recover from this injury as quickly as possible, even if it takes longer than he thinks. He appears to be strengthening his knee. He also needed to learn how to modify his skating stride in order to adapt to the new technique.
