Oklahoma’s top softball coach announces his retirement.
Alright, good morning. With sorrow, Oklahoma Panhandle State University announces Marc Benjamin’s departure as head coach of the Aggies softball team. After four years of commitment to the program, Benjamin, who has a record of 96–100, will be leaving.
Coach Benjamin accomplished important goals during his time there, leaving a lasting impression on the OPSU softball program and sparking a new era of greatness. Notably, in the 2022 season, he guided Kaylie Grove to a selection to the second team of the All-American team.
The Aggies accomplished remarkable things under Benjamin’s leadership, including establishing a school record with 35 victories in a single season. Furthermore, the show garnered votes for the first time in the NAIA Top 25 Polls.
During Benjamin’s tenure, some noteworthy successes were achieved, such as
