Prior to the 2024–25 season, Jana Want, Macie Harter, Leila Ammon, Lilly Pendergrast, Avery Wynne, Dimitra Milonopoulos, Zoe Milonopoulos, and Sabria Ritto signed National Letters of Intent to become members of the team.

“This class is without a doubt the best overall recruiting class we have assembled in my 12 years at Middle Tennessee,” stated Jeff Breeden, our head coach. Over the past three years, we have devoted all of our time to assembling this class. In this class, we were able to meet all of our player personnel demands. The current Middle Tennessee players are a good fit for this class. They are all admirable individuals, competitive and goal-oriented athletes. The bar has never been higher! Want enlists with the Stoney Creek, Ontario, Blue Raiders. Head coach Courtney Gilbert oversees the middle infielder’s travel ball squad, the D1 Nationals. Want was also named Orchard Park Secondary School’s Athlete of the Year throughout his high school career.

“Jana comes to Middle Tennessee as our first international recruit as she comes from Canada,” Breeden stated. Jana is a gifted utility player and middle infielder who has the capacity to alter entire programs. We are eager to see her utilize our play system because she has a monster bat.”

Want is from Ontario, while Harter is from Pleasant View, Tennessee. Harter was an outfield player for Cheatham County Central High School, where she was coached by Jhacenda  Garret.

The native of Tennessee earned spots on the softball and basketball All-District and All-Tournament teams during her four years of letterwinning in high school. Under coach Garret, Harter batted.540 with an on-base percentage of.705.

2017 saw Harter compete for the Georgia Impact travel ball club, led by head coach Teo Caymol, bat.500 and win nationals.

“Macie is a speedy outfielder from middle Tennessee, and she is expected to come in a compete for a starting role from day one,” Breeden stated. “Macie’s speed will infuse our offense with energy. We’re excited to see her sporting the Blue.”

Ammon moved to Murfreesboro from Gulf Breeze, Florida, where she attended Gulf Breeze High School for four years and was a letterwinner. Her name was the Pitcher of the year by the Pensacola News Journal in 2023; Player of the Year by the 5A Coaches Association.

Under head coach Chelsea McGehee, the Florida pitcher tossed 102 innings in her junior season, recording over 200 strikeouts and a 0.68 ERA.
