Devastated injury reports ever: Tua Tagovailoa, the quarterback for the Miami Dolphins, is carried off the field on a stretcher during the Bengals game.

Less than a week after being hurt in another game, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was carted off the field on a stretcher on Thursday during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The injuries seemed to be to his head and neck.

The team provided an update, saying that Tagovailoa is conscious, able to move all of his extremities, and has been sent to a nearby hospital for additional testing. It further stated that on Thursday night, he is anticipated to leave the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and return to Miami with the team.

Following the team’s 27–15 defeat, Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel verified that Tagovailoa had sustained a concussion, which is a traumatic brain injury brought on by a blow to the head.

Josh Tupou, a defensive lineman for the Bengals, sacked Tagovailoa in the second quarter, and the player lay motionless on the field for several minutes.

While Tagovailoa was being placed on the stretcher and backboard, the entire Dolphins sideline made their way onto the field.Tua Tagovailoa being examined during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals, on September 29.

Bengals supporters in Cincinnati’s Paycor Stadium paid their respects after Tagovailoa was wheeled off the field.

Following the game, McDaniel remarked, “It was a scary moment.” “He is undergoing concussion treatment after being assessed for one…That was a touching moment. Even while you are aware that there is a possibility in football, that is not a part of the agreement that everyone signs.

“Myself and all of his teammates were extremely concerned,” he continued.

The National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) stated that player health and safety constituted the “heart” of their mission in a statement released on Thursday night.

It stated, “We are concerned about Tua tonight and we hope for a full and speedy recovery.” “We are still looking into the possible protocol violation.”

Days have passed since Tagovailoa seemed to have another head injury during a game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

He had left the game in the second quarter due to his head hitting the ground following a hit by linebacker Matt Milano. As he made his way back to the line of scrimmage, Tagovailoa staggered and nearly went down.

After being cleared from a concussion check, he returned to the field in the third quarter.

Following that, the NFLPA informed the NFL that it wished to begin an investigation into how Tagovailoa’s suspected head injury was handled.

Later on, the Dolphins claimed that Tagovailoa’s injury was to his back rather than his head.

Due to a back issue, Tagovailoa’s status for tonight’s game was labeled as uncertain.

Despite Tagovailoa’s prior injury, McDaniel defended the team’s choice to play him on Thursday, citing the clearance of an independent physician who specializes in “brain matter.”

“I’m not going to sugarcoat the situation as long as I’m coaching here; if there’s even the slightest indication that someone has a concussion, they go into the concussion protocol,” he declared.

We don’t tamper with it. I never have, and you guys won’t ever have to worry about it as long as I’m the head coach.

After a spirited victory over the Buffalo Bills, the Miami Dolphins take the lead in the AFC East. The NFLPA will begin an investigation into how Tua Tagovailoa’s injury was handled.
Following Tagovailoa’s injury on Sunday, McDaniel was asked if there was anything different the team could have done. He answered emphatically, “absolutely not.”

CNN top medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta described the Thursday night’s game incident as “really scary” and “very concerning” in an interview with New Day. He emphasized that Tagovailoa’s hand gesture while he lay on the ground was particularly alarming.

“It’s clear from the video from last night that there was a really serious injury. Tua has been on the ground for a while, Gupta remarked.

“The motion he’s making with his hands is a really important indication that people should definitely take note of.

It may indicate a basic disruption of some of the connections, if only momentarily, between the brain and the spinal cord. It is serious if that sounds serious.

In addition, Gupta stated that Tagovailoa should not have been allowed to play again in accordance with the NFL’s Concussion Protocol because he seemed to suffer from “gross motor instability” when he staggered across the field during Sunday’s game against the Bills.

In a Friday interview with CNN, retired NFL defensive end Jack Crawford stated that Tagovailoa’s safety was his primary worry upon witnessing the incident.

NFL player Crawford said to CNN Sport’s Amanda Davies, “I immediately thought to myself: I hope he’s okay, I hope it’s not too serious.” Crawford played for several teams.

In essence, it’s a component of the gameplay. To be honest, the league is making every effort to avoid these things from happening and to keep an eye out for them. In my opinion, the game has advanced significantly in terms of assisting people or keeping them out of certain circumstances.

Crawford claimed that during his playing days, he had witnessed athletes yearning to return to the field following injuries.

“I’ve witnessed individuals whose ‘bell rung’ and who have come onto the sidelines looking somewhat shaken up, but they want to continue playing and don’t want to draw attention from the medical staff.”
