Fans’ hearts have been crushed by the news that three of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ best players are injured.

Defensive lineman Dean Lowry and linebacker Cole Holcomb will start training camp on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform List. Cordarelle Patterson, a running back and kick returner who was added to the Active/Non-Football Injury List, will now be with these two.
“We’ve got two PUP guys,” Tomlin declared. “Obviously, Dean Lowry and Cole Holcomb have prior injuries. C Patterson will also be added to the list of non-football injuries.”
but it’s hoped they’ll be back shortly. Holcomb is recovering from a knee ailment that has sidelined him since the 2023 season’s ninth week.
In his absence, the Steelers’ starting rotation might consist of rookie Payton Wilson, Patrick Queen, and Elandon Roberts.

The club will soon begin padded practice to assess how some of its newcomers and rookies fit into this Steelers team, as training camp has just entered its first week.
