Unexpected news: The 76xers have added a new prospective player.
CBS Philadelphia, PA In NBA free agency, the Philadelphia 76ers made quick decisions, adding nine-time All-Star Paul George, extending Tyrese Maxey’s contract, and doing a lot more.
Daryl Morey, president of basketball operations for the Sixers, probably won’t make any more major acquisitions, but he still needs to assemble the rest of Philadelphia’s squad before the 2024–2025 campaign begins.
These five players make sense for the Sixers to sign to veteran’s minimum contracts.
1. The Kyle Lowry
After Maxey, the Sixers still need a backup point guard, thus it makes sense to bring back Philadelphia native Kyle Lowry on a minimum contract.
Last season, Lowry went back to his home team to try to win a title, but sadly, Philly’s season ended in the first round of the playoffs against the Knicks in New York.
