Hearing when a top player from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers sustains an injury is heartbreaking.
It appears like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play their most important game of the regular season at full strength, even if they haven’t played many at full strength.
Although there are a few doubtful players on the Bucs’ final Week 18 injury report, head coach Todd Bowles told reporters that the squad should be “full go” for Sunday’s game. There were just two limited players: wide receiver Trey Palmer, who is currently recovering from a hip injury, and linebacker K.J. Britt, who was limited due to a calf ailment. All other players, including defensive lineman Mike Greene, who is ruled out because he hasn’t been brought back to the team’s 53-man roster from injured reserve, participated fully.
Outside linebacker Marquis Haynes Sr. is the only Panthers player definitely out at this time; he missed practice because of a concussion. Guard Cade Mays and kicker Eddie Pineiro are both questionable; however, the Panthers have Matthew Wright on their practice squad who is expected to take over in the kicker position.
