Heartbreaking: A very loyal Oklahoma Sooners player has announced his sudden retirement, sending a powerful statement and bidding the team and supporters a heartfelt farewell.
Jermayne Lole, a former defensive lineman for Louisville, attended the Oklahoma football spring game on April 20, declared he was transferring to OU two days later, and then revealed on Thursday of this week that he was flipping that vow to Texas.
This news strangely comes one week after former TCU defensive lineman Damonic Williams committed to Oklahoma.
According to reports, the 6-foot-3-inch, 310-pound Lole picked Oklahoma over Washington, Texas A&M, and USC via the transfer site. At that point, Texas was not brought up. Following his announcement of his departure from the Sooners and subsequent commitment to Texas, Lole spoke with the On3 recruiting website.
