In the third and possibly final game of the season on March 3, Riyadi faced the same team that had defeated Beirut twice (73-65, 67-49) in the Women’s D1 finals. The game ended 62-56 in Beirut’s favor at their stadium, Chiyah Forum, capping a fantastic defensive effort. Riyadi now leads the series 2-1.

Aida Bakhos, Melody Saneh, Miramar El Mokdad, Maygan Simmons, and Jocelyn Geara were the Beirut starting lineup. Coach Omar Turk chose Rebecca Akl, Chirine Al Charif, Meghry Torossian, Angela Tompkins, and Gabriela Abi Saad as Riyadi’s replacements.

Maygan Simmons of Beirut made two consecutive 3-pointers to start the game, sending a message that the home team wasn’t going to give up just yet despite losing the series 2-0. Even though Beirut was shooting well from three-point range, Riyadi was unquestionably more dominant in the paint. For Beirut, which profited from numerous Riyadi errors in the opening period, the quarter ended 21–14.

Riyadi was able to cut the deficit in half early in the second quarter. After an 8-0 run, the team realized they had momentum and returned to the game in just two minutes (21-22). After a 3-pointer, Maygan Simmons then showed up to create and increase Beirut’s lead to five points.
