Another set of unfortunate news has hit the Tottenham Hotspur: their head coach shed tears as four of his star players made the decision to terminate their huge contracts.

The Tottenham Hotspur team has received further bad news: their head coach cried when he learned that four of his key players have decided to end their enormous contracts.

Four stars of Tottenham have said goodbye to their contracts.

While the other two become free agents, the other two have already arranged transfers to other teams.

The team led by Ange Postecoglou, who placed fifth in his first Premier League season, is changing as they get ready for his second season at the club.

That subsequent stage of development will not include Japhet Tanganga, Ryan Sessegnon, Ivan Perisic, or Eric Dier.

The club released a statement saying, “We thank Eric, Ivan, Ryan, and Japhet for their service to the Club and wish them all the very best for the future.”

Dier signed a contract to become a permanent member of Bayern Munich in March after meeting his appearance requirement. Dier had initially joined the team on loan in January.

After a successful loan stint, he managed to make 20 appearances for Bayern, unseating Dayot Upamecano and Kim Min-jae at center back to establish himself as a mainstay in Thomas Tuchel’s squad.

After leaving Burnley, Vincent Kompany signed a three-year contract at the Allianz Arena, where the 30-year-old will now get mentorship.

Perisic, on the other hand, first joined on loan in January and has since joined childhood club Hajduk Split.

The 34-year-old began a one-year contract with the Croatian team with the goal of joining permanently.

Due to a severe injury to his anterior cruciate ligament, he was only able to play six games in his last half-season with Spurs.

Sessegnon departed Fulham in 2019 to accept a £25 million contract with Spurs, although in five seasons marred by injuries, the left-sided player only played in 57 games.

Sessegnon, who was once regarded as one of the best young players in the English game, was limited to just one appearance this season by an injury, but he will be looking to improve in another setting.

Tanganga, on the other hand, saw a first-team prospect fall after Mauricio Pochettino moved him out of the academy in 2019, despite his early bright start to life.

The defender played 50 games for Spurs, although he was out on loan for the whole season, first to Augsburg, where he was sidelined by injury, and then to Millwall.

Additionally, Spurs let go of a number of younger players.

Billy Heaps and Charlie Sayers depart from the development team together.

Players Kieran Morgan and Han Willhoft-King, who played for the club since the under-8 and under-7 divisions, respectively, and are now in the under-18 squad, have also been let go.

Tottenham said, “We wish Charlie, Billy, Kieran, Han, and their families well for the future and thank them for their hard work and dedication to our Academy.”
