Kim Little, the captain of Arsenal, has re-signed a contract with the team despite missing the rest of the season due to a hamstring injury.

The 32-year-old made his debut for the Gunners in 2008 and has since played in two stints in north London, totaling 290 appearances. Little has made the seventh most appearances in Arsenal’s history and has six league titles, three FA Cups, and five League Cups to her credit.

She suffered a season-ending injury during their quarterfinal matchup with Bayern Munich in the UEFA Women’s Champions League last month, it was revealed on Monday. The team anticipates that she will be available when training for the 2023–2024 season begins, and their longest-serving player will receive a contract extension.
