Dangerous injury: Hannah Stuhlke has suffered yet another horrific injury.
The Iowa Hawkeyes are still undefeated at number two, trailing by just one. The team defeated Penn State 111-93 at home in their most recent game, which they played with great effort. Moving forward Hannah Stuelke, in particular, was instrumental in shattering the home court record, scoring a career-high 47 points on 17 of 20 field goals and grabbing 9 rebounds. Her effort was the second-highest point total in a single game and the 16th 40-point outburst in the program’s history.
The Hawkeyes fell behind in the first quarter, but they responded forcefully to take a commanding lead in the second. Fans are well aware of Caitlin Clark’s extraordinary, above-and-beyond contributions to the team’s success. Having said that, let’s examine Stuelke’s most recent injury update.
