Another set of unfortunate news has hit the Cincinnati Bearcats: their head coach shed tears as four of his star players made the decision to terminate their huge contracts.

Travis and Jason Kelce went over to talk with the current Cincinnati Bearcats football squad before their ‘New Heights Live’ special on Thursday night. Given their present notoriety, the Kelce brothers—at least one of them—are probably the program’s two most well-known alums.

They both played for Cincinnati from 2006 to 2012. Scott Satterfield, the head football coach at Cincinnati, shared pictures of himself with all three of the Kelce brothers on social media after joining the team in 2022 following stops as head coach at Appalachian State and Louisville. We are really appreciative that ⁦⁦ @JasonKelce⁩ and ⁦ @tkelce⁩ spoke to our team.

Excited to see them return to Clifton! Satterfield on X, alluding to the Cincinnati area that is home to the university’s campus.

Travis is seen in the pictures wearing a green Jason is sporting a Bearcats football t-shirt, while I’m sporting a Nike sweatshirt.

This is the Kelce’s first live “New Heights” performance at their alma mater, coming back to Cincinnati. After 13 years in the NFL, Jason Kelce just concluded his career with the Philadelphia Eagles. There is a lot of public interest in Jason’s future beyond his podcast, and networks are apparently vying for his services. Alongside Eagles offensive lineman Lane Johnson, Jason Kelce made an appearance at WWE’s WrestleMania 40 over the weekend.

As one of the top tight ends in the NFL, Travis Kelce’s relationship with 14-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift has increased interest in everything Kelce. It’s unclear but unlikely that Swift will make an appearance on Thursday in Cincinnati.
